This ritual athame is perfect for those seeking a medieval feel in their ritual tools as it is forged in the image of a miniature sword that might have been worn on the side of a knight or soldier during the dark ages. With a black sheath bound in metal fittings that allow you to hang it from your belt, it measures approximately 15" long. When unsheathed, it reveals an 8 1/2" long, stainless steel blade that ends in a cruciform cross guard. This in turn is backed by a smooth-polished hilt ending in a rounded pommel. Unsheathed, the athame measures approximately 13" long, and fits comfortably in the hand, providing you with a classical ritual tool that will not quickly get heavy in your grip.
