The Tree of Life is a beautiful piece of symbolism, showing a tree with far reaching branches that touch the heavens and deep roots that plunge into the earth. Its symbolism represents the bridging of heaven and earth and all that is between, as well as the search for the middle path or a balance in all things that exist. Here it has been created with a rich attention to detail out of sterling silver, displaying the tangled branches and roots of an ancient tree framed within a circular pendant. This is further accented with a border inscribed with Theban, the runic script also known as Witch's Runes. The traditional script of the Wiccan faith, it is an elegant and flowing script that certainly lends a sense of mysticism to any word they are used to write. Here they simply display the traditional saying: "As above, so below" above the branches, with "As within, so without" beneath the tree's roots.
